Free Guidance to Commissioning Accessible Websites!
Back in February, we posted some news about Publicly Available Specification (PAS) 78, “Guide to Good Practice in Commissioning Accessible Websites”, a long-awaited and much-needed document sponsored by the Disability Rights Commission (DRC). PAS 78 was published in March 2006, available at a cost of £30 (excluding VAT).
Today, the DRC announced that PAS 78 will now be available for free as a download from its website. This is great news and a boost for accessible Web Design practices. If you are responsible for commissioning or maintaining websites in an organisation, download PAS 78 for free from the DRC's website. You can read more information about PAS 78 on the BSI website.
Busy, busy, busy!
I think an update is long overdue. There has been quite a lot of work to do since moving the business to the South West, mostly for our existing clients. We've also been busy making contacts in our new location and gearing up for attending @media 2006, Europe's foremost professional Web Design conference.
We have had several exciting projects in the pipeline over the last few months that we will report on very soon. So, stay tuned!
