Statement on Web Standards
This website is designed using technical recommendations known as “Web Standards”. The practice of conforming to these standards encourages validity and well-formedness in Website Design.
The techniques that we believe to be best practice are exercised in the construction of this website:
- The presentation and structure behind the site are defined separately. This technique brings with it several benefits, which include faster download times.
- The use of media-specific presentation techniques allows the information on the website to be made available to a wider audience and too a larger range of browsing devices.

This website is written in XHTML and conforms to the W3C XHTML 1.0 specification. The pages on this site are provided in XHTML to those browsers that support it properly. Other browsers will be provided with pages written in HTML.

Presentation — Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
This site makes use of CSS to control the presentation of the content. For example, when printing any of the pages on this website, your printer will use a separate stylesheet which optimises the content for print.
